For example, the femme fatale characters who are supposed to be strong women will suddenly switch to being weaklings. In fact, some of the characters don't seem to have a set arc.

The cast is given no chance to shine as the script doesn't call for much character development.

The overly simple plot is made complex and confusing with side plots and action scenes that are only slotted in to make the movie longer but not any better.
